Wood Planet Gaming LodgeAbout the Lodge
Two brothers and others, making old-school games since 2014.
Rekindling the fire
Wood Planet Gaming Lodge began in 2014 as a place for brothers Jason and Mark Hess to share their love of tabletop gaming. The vision soon grew into something much bigger: a site dedicated to all things tabletop. Somewhere along the way the original idea got lost, and eventually the fire that warmed the Lodge went out.
In 2022 we relit it. The relaunched Lodge is intentionally small and focused on what we love most: writing and publishing roleplaying games of our own, and sometimes working with friends. Since then the Lodge has released adventures and sourcebooks for Lamentations of the Flame Princess, a growing shelf of White Star: Galaxy Edition material, and new editions of classic Beyond Belief Games titles.
