Why “Wood Planet”?
Growing up, Mark and I spent plenty of time helping our dad cut and haul firewood for the family wood stove. Dad always said we were out working on the wood planet, and the name stuck. In between chores, we were rolling dice at the table, playing tabletop RPGs every chance we got.
The logo tells the rest: the axe for all that firewood, the d10 for a lifetime of gaming, and the pipe because I’m an avid pipe smoker. The “Lodge” is a nod to Saturday nights watching The Red Green Show and the gang at Possum Lodge on our local PBS station.
